Lupus is an invisible, debilitating autoimmune disease in which a persons immune system attacks healthy organs in its body. There is no cure for lupus, only management. 90 percent of people who get lupus are women and it is 2 to 3 times more common among women of color than Caucasians. This includes African Americans, Hispanics/Latinos, Asian Americans, Native Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders. Unfortunately, those affected most by lupus are completely unaware of symptoms and treatment which is why we have to continue raising awareness year round.

Please join us this lupus awareness month as we paint mini pots, plant some beautiful succulents and speak about the importance of self care for our mental health. To buy tickets, click here or you just VenMo @Rosadela-Durruthy with “paint” in memo.

Thank you to our partner DrugViu, the only company of its kind that offers secure medical records consolidation, provide access to clinical trials, and thorough research of your medications. Included with all of these free benefits you would also be joining a community of other autoimmune warriors who meet every month (virtually).
