I am thrilled to announce that I will be joining the WebMD & MedScape family as a Lupus Community Leader, moderating their Facebook page: WebMD Lupus Community. Please if you have a facebook page, I ask you to join me and engage in conversations because I’ll be posting as often as they let me!

For the past two years I have had the opportunity to bring awareness to this otherwise invisible disease lupus through friends’ organizations, social media and my website. I am incredibly grateful to everyone who has helped me make my vision of a non-profit a reality – thank you.

Today, I get started on an exciting new adventure. Having used WebMD multiple times in the past, I am completely blown away that they reach out to me with the opportunity of being a community leader. I plan to post meaningful content regularly and start many conversations to help our community!

This group provides credible information, supportive communities, and in-depth reference material about health subjects that matter to you. We are a source for original and timely health information, as well as material from well-known content providers.

Whether you’ve been living with Lupus for a while, you are newly diagnosed, or a dedicated caregiver, WebMD is here for you.

Please note, however, that WebMD does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment here. You should always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding any medical condition.

If you would like more information, e-mail me at shesgotlupus@gmail.com or leave me a comment here. But don’t forget to go to Facebook and join WebMD Lupus Community!

** disclaimer: I am NOT leaving my current job at MedZed, I absolutely love that job too much now! This is a part time adventure.
